GMC fields a coed soccer team in the Middle School and Men’s and Women’s High School soccer in the prep school division. The Varsity teams play a 15 game schedule beginning in early February. Middle School begins at the same time playing a 10 game schedule. Competitors include area schools such as Athens Academy, Morgan County and Putnam County. Both teams are fortunate to practice and play on one of the premier facilities in our area, sharing the field with the GMC College team.
Linda Brown is the head soccer coach with, Community Coach and successful local business man, Bob Jaworski as the assistant coach. A dedicated effort is made to produce athletes of character, discipline and peak athletic ability. Former GMC High School players continue to enjoy the sport as players on the GMC College teams and other area college teams.
