Georgia Military College has scholarships available to qualified young men and women who have been accepted as students by the school. Any qualified student can apply for a Georgia Military College scholarship to help finance their GMC education. The applicant will be considered for any (and all) scholarships that they might be eligible to receive.

The GMC scholarships are managed through the GMC Scholarship Committee in conjunction with various departments or campus locations. Each scholarship has its own criteria and procedures for selection and awarding.

Milledgeville, GA 31061

For additional information call 478-387-4885.

Consideration for a GMC Foundation Athletic Scholarship is through nomination from the GMC Athletic Director.  Those interested may contact the GMC JC Athletic Department at 478-387-4704 or by email at athletics@gmc.cc.ga.us for more information.

All scholarships awarded by the GMC Foundation are subject to guidelines which require the student to continue to meet the criteria upon which the award is based and to maintain the specified grade point average (GPA) outlined in the award letter.

Foundation scholarships, both annual and endowed, are provided by donors, without whose support these scholarships would not be possible.  Recipients are required to write a letter of thanks to the donor(s) who provided the resources for the scholarships they are awarded.

Milledgeville campus students must apply for GMC Foundation Scholarships in general rather than for a specific scholarship award.  During the selection process, qualified students will be matched to scholarships based upon the criteria for individual scholarship funds.

The Georgia Military College Pass It On Scholarship is a separate scholarship for which Milledgeville students may apply.  Recipients must have completed at least one quarter at GMC and earned a 2.0 GPA. No more than $200.00 will be awarded to any student per year. If the scholarship is received, funds will be transferred to the GMC Bookstore to cover the cost of the textbook(s) or other instructional materials. Applications must be submitted along with the appropriate letters of recommendation to:
