“My sister was attending Georgia College, but my test scores were too low to get in.  I decided to attend GMC because I could live with her, could get away from home and still be with family.  My goals were to bring up my GPA so that I could get into a four-year school and I also wanted to get my associate degree.  GMC gave me the one-on-one attention I needed.  My teachers spent more time with me as an individual.  Everything that is offered at GMC is offered at other colleges, just on a smaller scale.  I will be attending the University of Georgia in the fall and plan to get my degree in early childhood/elementary education.  GMC helped me get there!”
