Academic Support Services
The Department of Academic Support Services,
associated with the Office of Academic Affairs, is located in Milledgeville. It provides
four basic services for students, staff and faculty of
GMC:
- Personal problem assessment, assistance and
referral
- Academic advisement and guidance
- Career planning assistance
- Training programs in study skills, stress reduction and coping skills, critical
interpersonal skills, time management, and campus life
issues.
The office offers consultation and
assistance to the various administrative sections of GMC and serves the college in evaluation of academic compliance with American with Disabilities Act.
