Academic Honors

The purpose of the Georgia Military College Academic Honors Program is to motivate students to achieve scholastic excellence.

Quarterly Academic Honors:
President's List:
full-time student with a 3.70 grade point average for the quarter, no grade below a "C"

Dean's List:
full-time student with a 3.20 grade point average for the quarter, no grade below a "C"

Graduation Academic Honors:
Summa Cum Laude: 3.8 - 4.0 grade point average
Magna Cum Laude: 3.65 - 3.79 grade point average
Cum Laude: 3.5 - 3.64 grade point average
