Welcome to the Georgia Military College alumni page. We hope the links provided on the alumni and friends page will give you an opportunity to stay connected with GMC and keep you informed about your alma mater. As the Coordinator of Alumni Relations, it is my sincerest desire to represent you, the Georgia Military College family. Since coming to GMC a few years ago, I have admired the pride and spirit seen in the students at GMC. With over 11,000 alumni worldwide, the GMC Alumni Association serves as a conduit for graduates to reconnect with their alma mater. The mission of the GMC Alumni Association is to cultivate and influence the alumni, to provide for their lifelong support, and to foster the continued future growth of the institution.

What can you do to help fulfill our mission?

• Join the 1879 Circle.
• Send your news to us.

Share your ideas with us and let us know what you would like alumni relations to do for you. As your representative, I want to serve you. Please let me know of any ideas you may have.

Alumni Association

The GMC Alumni Association is composed of all those persons who are graduates from either our high school, now Prep School or our junior college divisions, any person who has been a full-time student at GMC in the Middle School, High School, now Prep School, or Junior College for not less than one (1) year, but who honorably left or withdrew from school without graduating, and those whom the Alumni Board recognize, from time to time, as honorary alumni.

We have alumni in each of the fifty states and many abroad. We are well represented in all professions including medicine, law, government, teaching, and the military. GMC has produced more than a dozen general and flag officers since our founding in 1879. We currently have many officers on active duty within all branches of the armed services.

Our current Alumni Board of Directors

If you have any GMC Announcements, Bulletins, Commandants, or Recalls prior to 1925 or Recalls for 1926, 1927, 1930-1944, 1946-1948, or 1950, the library staff would like to borrow them. The library is attempting to scan these items so that a record of student life at GMC can be preserved and made available electronically. If you have any of these publications that you are willing to share, the library will scan them and return them to you with thanks for your generousity in allowing us to use them.
